Major Milestone: Progress Accelerates at Windsor Place

Construction Update

Camillo is proud to update on the significant progress made at Windsor Place, located at 206 High Street, Windsor.

The building’s façade is now complete, the tower crane and gantry have been dismantled, and public realm works including asphalting and concreting are now underway. The team is also advancing rapidly on internal works, with the roof terrace fit-out progressing, external landscaping in progress, tenancy floors undergoing final defecting and painting, and the basement levels being cleared and prepped for applied finishes.

This marks a major step forward in delivering one of Melbourne’s most distinctive boutique commercial developments.

The Vision

Windsor Place is a six-level commercial development that sets a new benchmark for the modern workplace, redefining the standard for commercial excellence while marketing a transformative chapter in one of the city’s most admired suburbs. Designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s professionals, it blends premium office space with ground-floor retail and hospitality, creating a flexible and future-ready environment.

With architecture by K2LD, and development led by Chapter Group in collaboration with Taronga Group, the vision for Windsor Place is one of elevated functionality, timeless design, and strong connection to its community – all within a boutique scale.

The Location

Right in the heart of Windsor, the site occupies a prime position along High Street, once a hidden gem and now one of Melbourne’s most characteristic retail and lifestyle strips. It’s surrounded by heritage terraces, local institutions, and a steady hum of hospitality and creative energy. The area’s cultural charm play tribute to the architectural design.

What to expect

Once complete, Windsor Place will deliver nearly 5000m2 of A-Grade commercial space, with curated ground-floor retail and dining offerings, and a design-led boutique workplace experience designed for modern flexibility. The rooftop and terraces are a seen across intermediate levels, providing outdoor breakout space and city-scape outlooks for relaxation and informal gathering. The building’s design emphasises sustainability, with features that promote energy efficiency and wellbeing.

What we’re excited to unveil

The architecture by K2LD come to life. The building combines a warm brick base that echoes the neighbourhood’s heritage, with a contemporary glass-lined upper level, optimising daylight with refined materiality. Together, all the elements create a commercial space that’s as functional as it is inspiring.

Windsor Place is an opportunity for Camillo to achieve architectural distinction with premium delivery, in one of Melbourne’s most recognisable and character-rich precincts.
